ABA Seeks to Seal Records From the Public in Volcker Rule Challenge


Motion to File Under Seal


On December 24, 2013, the American Bankers Association asked a federal court to seal portions of its challenge to the Volcker Rule from the public.

In support of its request to keep a portion of its documents sealed, the ABA simply states that the documents contain, "highly confidential business information."

Motion to Stay Agency Action


The ABA filed its motion to stay certain Volcker Rule regulations on December 24, 2013. The motion is redacted at pages 8, 15, 17, and 18. Exhibits were also redacted.
